Suggest Treatment For Tenderness In The Testicles Post Vasectomy
I had a vasectomy 5 days ago. My testicles are still tender. The doctor had a hard time finding my right vas because my scrotum is real thick. There is a line of bruise/blood that went down my scrotum and seemed to pool under my right testicle. It appears to be lightening, but I m still soar. In addition to the pain from the vasectomy, the skin (scrotum) all around my testicles stings some. I put some lotion on them and they feel to get hot like icy-hot or something was put on. It seems to help but doesn t go away
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Vasectomy is a surgical intervention and pain/tenderness after it is possible. This is just a normal tissue response to healing.Tenderness may also have been aggravated by the fact that your Doctor had to find your right vas deferens with difficulty and may have caused more extensive surrounding tissue lesions.I will suggest you just stay calm, rest well and avoid tight panties.Take a pain/anti-inflammatory drug like ibuprofen. If tenderness persist, you see your Doctor to examine the spot and eliminate a post intervention infection though rare. Hope this will help Best regards
