Suggest Treatment For Thalamic Bleed

my father had thalamic bleed and clot (hemorrhage) in other side in 1998. Due to t.bleed he was not treated for 1 1/2 years for clot. now the bleed area is clear and dr started giving medicine for clot. He is not able to speak, but he has the memory and right side (hand & leg) effected but he is able to walk. We would like to know whether he will become alright, i mean how long further will take for speak etc.,or it is curable.
