Suggest Treatment For Thalamic Pain Syndrome

thalamic pain syndrome how to treat, i am desperate to solve this and a new pain in my right buttocks, an xray revealed "a luscent lesion with sclerotic rim on rt femural neck if other bony pathology is of concern an MRI is reccommended." should I insisit my doctor f/u with MRI or is it insignificant? thank you
