Suggest Treatment For The Joint Pains In A Diabetic Diabetic Patient

I am a 52 year old female that has had diabetis for several years. I have not done a good job at managing the condition. It seems that for the past 2 years I have experienced difficulties getting up from a chair not unless I use my hands to propel myself. If I am on the ground, I do not half enough strength to get up without someone providing support. I have noticed recently also that when I go for a stroll my legs tire out quickly, as if they were weak. Other than diabetis, there is no other family history of neurological disease. I also experience sciatic pain intermittently and am 25 pounds overweight. Please advise, thank you!

Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

Mam, Get calcium supplementation. Consult physiotherapist and get advised mild exercises and follow them regularly. Get knee support socks which help in supporting. Good control of blood sugar values also helps you. Get the sugar values checked and see that they are under control.

Hope this guides you. For any other query you can write to us. We will be happy to answer you. Wish you good health.
