Suggest Treatment For The Puss Filled Lump On The Back

Hi my husband has had a rather good size lump on his back for well over a year now. It has just started to open up and pus is coming out. He insists that I squeeze the pus out, which I have done several times, well today when I squeezed it, pus just flew out of it. The lump seemed to have flattened than it seemed to have filled up again. What should we do?

Hi,
From history it seems that he might be having Carbuncle on the back.
There is possibility of having infected Sebaceous cyst.
Consult surgeon and get examined.
Rule out Diabetes.
Ok and take care.
