Suggest Treatment For Throat Pain And Change In Voice

Hello, My Adam s Apple was hit last week in a basketball game by an elbow. Since then it has been sore (hard swallowing, though improving) and my voice has been effected. I sing and cannot sing high notes anymore.In addition it looks to me and others like the location of the Adam s Apple has moved maybe a quarter to a half inch off center. Please tell me what I should do.

Hello,

It may be due to laryngitis. For further assessment you may require complete hemogram, throat swab after ENT consultation. You may require antibiotics after consultation. Continue saline or betadine gargles twice a day. Take hygienic food and water. Keep your self hydrated
