Suggest Treatment For Throat Pain And Dry Cough

Hello! I have a dry cough & every time I have it, it s so itchy & painful in my throat.. The doctor prescribeb claricort 2x a day for 3 days. This is now my 4th day but still my throat is itchy & painful n every time I cough. Can I still take claricort even for just another day? Thank you.

It could be an allergy problem and the medication may have to be continued for some time.
Also try warm saline gargles and steam inhalation. Avoid exposure to dust and smoke.
