Suggest Treatment For Throat Pain Due To Choking

I choked on a peice of meat today that hurt as it went down, which I threw up about five minutes later but now my throat kills, close to the top and near the adams apple. I cannot talk, burp, flex my neck, or especially swallow anything becasue the pain is so intense. Is this normal?
