Suggest Treatment For Throbbing And Pain In Left Ankle

I am a seemingly healthy 34 year old male with no medical issues. Suddenly yesterday my left ankle started to swell and throb. A day later, it had gone away for the most part until tonight, when it came back on strong. I have not twisted or turned it at all! What could this be?
