Suggest Treatment For Throbbing Sensation In The Feet
Hello I wore closed shoes for an event I was on my feet walking and dancing for about 5 hours .. My big toe has been throbbing since and its swollen and red . Very painful when I walk .. Today a dropped my phone on the same toda d made it worse . What can I do to relieve the pain
Noted your history of wearing tight shoes, walked and danced for 5 hours developed severe pain in big toe that is throbbing and is red. The cause is obviously paronychia that is infection of the side of nail instigated or enhanced by the tight shoes. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Consult your Doctor as you would need prescription based antibiotic. Take an anti-inflammatory medicine with painkiller properties like Ibuprofen if it suits you. Elevate the foot and leg above heart level in lying down position. This should help you. If the process continues and goes into abscess then get an incision and drainage done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
