Suggest Treatment For Thyroid Abscess

Dr my daughter is 51/2 yrs old she is suffering from thyroid abscess we had gone for surgeory also, but yet she has not cured well, the pus is forming again and again, what we have to do for it Dr? we are so blank of it Dr, what is the result for it?but in her medical reports she has no problem, we have did pathology test also in that result also there is no growth, plz guide me Dr

Hello,
Noted your concern. Sad to hear about your daughter's issues. Do you know if they did culture of the abscess material. That would decide the right treatment choice. Does she have fever or chills? Any neck pain now?
Did they rule out tuberculosis as a cause of thyroid abscess? Did she have an infected thyro glossal cyst or a pure thyroid abscess. I would advice you to seek treatment from a referral hospital with a good multi disciplinary team ( Endocrinologist and Thyrodi surgeon).
