Suggest Treatment For Thyroid Problems

my mother needs a new doc. she has so many alleriges to meds and her health is going down quickly. her doc will perscribe meds instead of finding the problem. recently he sent her for a thyroird test. he then said her thyroid was bad, and after putting her meds she ahd a major reaction and now he is telling her her thyroid is fine. she almost died. her allerigest has her on meds that do not seem to be combatiable with what she is already taking. so i need to know what is the best thing to advise her would be? she has diabetes, heart stents, copd, atrial fib., and too many surgerys to list
