Suggest Treatment For Tight Foreskin During Erections

hi, I am a 23 year old man and I have a tight foreskin which retracts completely when flaccid but retracts upto 40 % when erect . What do you suggest I do? The also retracts completely when erect but with a little strength and it appears as if I have a tight band around the penis which is restricting the foreskin from moving up and down easily.

Hello,

The condition you are having is called phimosis. In most men, phimosis is not a serious problem and will not require treatment.

However, it is not expected to improve on its own. I suggest you to visit your urologist for detailed examination and proper treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr SAMEEN BIN NAEEM, General & Family Physician
