Suggest Treatment For Tightening And Discomfort In The Chest

I have been experiencing upper chest discomfort; a tightening and heavy feeling. Also, my right shoulder and right arm (not left) has been hurting for several hours. I have had some anxiety as well. blood pressure was 124/105 last time I took it. should I be concerned?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have gone through your description and it appears that the chest discomfort what you are experiencing could be of cardiac origin. It appears to be 'angina pectoris'.
Hence you need to be concerned as diastolic (lower reading) blood pressure is high.
You need to get your ECG and Echocardiogram done at the earliest and consult Cardiologist for opinion and treatment.
Such symptoms should not be neglected as it my go in for complications like unstable angina and myocardial infarction.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
