Suggest Treatment For Tightness In Chest And Difficulty In Breathing

I have some drainage but my main issues are the feeling of a lump at the base of my throat ( no trouble swallowing) and a tightness in my chest when I try to take a deep breath. I am not short of breath just feel like I can t expand my lungs enough to get a deep breath

thanks for asking your question

first thing that need to be done is quit smoking if you smoke

it seems like you have
bronchial asthma
allergic rhinitis
allergy
upper/ lower resp tract infection

these are the possibilities but to confirm you have to consult a Pulmonologist who can request for a chest X-ray , sputum culture and if needed a spirimetry which can lead to a diagnosis

in my patients I apply the same protocol and start them on empirical antibiotics and a proton pump inhibitor and some bronchodilators like ambroxol which relieves the symptoms

no need to panic
thanks
