Suggest Treatment For Tightness In The Chest And Back Pain

I had a cold feeling in my chest today followed by chest tightness and rib and back pain on my left side, I am a 54 yr old female, I take 25mg of atenenol to control the symptoms of a mitral valve prolapse I have had pass issue with thes medication causing my bbm to drop below the 40 s, could this be what causes my pain?

Hi,

-looking at your mitral prolapse history & taking blood pressure medicine, chest tightness, some possibility of coronary is there.

But you do not mention of difficult breathing or sweating along with the symptoms.

So I would suggest checking for a heart problem (stress test on trade mill)

-The same symptoms could be with gallery to cold... but here you would show some wheezing.

A heart/ chest physician would help you to pinpoint/exclude these causes followed. y specific treatment. But do not neglect, please get checked.
