Hello,
Thank you for posting on HCM
Pityriasis versicolor is a superficial skin infection caused by a fungus.
In my patients I generally recommend a short course of oral antifungal drug like fluconazole 400 mg every 15 days for total 4 doses.
Apply ketoconazole cream twice a day over the white patches regularly.
Use shampoo containing ketoconazole and selenium sulfite for rinsing daily.
Maintain hygiene.
Hope you will get fine soon
Thank you
