Suggest Treatment For Tingling And Burning Sensation In The Groin Area

I have a tingling almost burning sensation in my groin area that now moved to my penis and seemingly urethra. I started to get a rash pimple like bumps that were on my thighs and buttocks. These bumps were quite irritating and somewhat painful. I went to the doctor and he diagnosed it as folliculitis saying the bumps did not look concerning and prescribed daily use of clindamycin phosphate. About a week or more later I began to experience muscle pain in the back and legs basically the sciatic nerve. After some 4 to 5 days this pain resided and some of the rash bumps actually went away but a couple more appeared one near my knee and one on my inner thigh. When I apply pressure these bumps sting and feel sort of hard. Now a day or two after the sciatic pain passed I have a tingling burning feeling in my genitals, but no burning while urinating. I also noticed some bumps underneath the head of the penis and on the shaft both are on the underneath part and are so tiny you can barely see them. I have been masturbating more than usually the last couple days too.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be due to neuropathic causes like nerve involvement. If symptoms persist better to consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
