Suggest Treatment For Tingling Sensation In The Arms

My husband is 33 yrs old. Recently he suffered some kind of tingling in his palms in the evening time when he used to be very hungry. We consulted a doctor and he was advised some tests. the results are: borderline diabetes, uric acid : 8.4, haemoglobin 12.3, borderline cholestrol, BP: 140/90. ECG was normal. We do not wish to take any medicine. Is there any other alternative like proper diet plans and exercise with which he can come back to normal figures. He stand 6'3" and his body weight is approx. 90-95 kgs.
