Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Suggest Treatment For Tingling Sensation In The Chin, Shoulder And Upper Arm
I have been under the weather since May 3 with a variety of different symptoms. Lethargy, hoarseness 4-5 days a week, appetite loss, low grade fever & swollen tender neck glands. About 2 weeks ago, I suddenly developed severe back neck pain. 2 days later, I began getting pins & needles along my right side, primarily starting where the neck pain ends, along my right side - chin, shoulder & upper arm. All symptoms continue now
The numbness and tenderness below the chin is either due to salivary gland infection or an inflamed lymph node. You should get an ultrasound submandibular area done and send me the report.
The single episode of dizziness can be due to some stress or some optokinetic effect or effect of some medicine. Get your blood pressure and blood sugar levels checked.
If there are any repeated episodes than get yourself examined by an Ent specialist. Follow up with the reports so that I can suggest you better.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Iven Romic Rommstein, General Surgeon
