Suggest Treatment For Tingling Sensation In The Clitoris Of A 19-year-old

Hello I m 19 years old, a few days ago I had noticed that I had a tingly sensation on my clit and I had thought that maybe it was an orgasm. But then 2 or 3 days have passed and now when I go pee it still seems to be tingling. This sensation lasts the whole day and has been going on for days. I had also realized that there has been some spotting here and there. I m not sure what this could be or what to do and to be completely honest I m scared. Me and my boyfriend have been using condoms when having sex. Could you possibly give me any advice?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I do not think there is something worrisome. It might be due to orgasm, and not related to any other serious issue.

To me, should keep good local hygiene. Avoid having sex or reaching orgasm for some days and observe the changes.

If it will continue, should run urine analysis and other genital examination to determine the right diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
