Suggest Treatment For Tingling Sensation On Legs When Diagnosed With Bulging Discs
About 5 weeks ago I was diagnosed with a bulging L4 L5. Since then I have come a long ways in recovery (2 ESI, PT....I can lay down and sit decently comfortably). My main concern and discomfort is in standing and walking. When I am on my feet I get tingling down my leg and a pressured pain in my left glute, like there is a rubber band ball the size of a baseball in my cheek. I am wondering how I can continue to improve? The only thing holding me back from being at least 75-80% is the tightness in my left glute. I guess my question is, is this normal for an L4 L5 bulge in the recovery process?
A bulging disc is a very common occurrence that results in a spinal disc compressing against an adjacent nerve root. Advice 1. Dexona 0.5 mg every 12 hours orally for 10 days 2. Tablet Tryptomer 25 mg daily per oral at bed time for 20 days 3. Tablet Neurobion Forte – one tablet daily per oral for 3 months 4. Tablet Nise – MR – one tablet every 12 hours orall after meal for 7 days 5. Tablet Rantac 150 mg every 12 hours orally for 7 days 6. Take rest and avoid strong physical activity 7. Avoid left lifting 8. Consult a physiotherapist for exercise guidance 9. Consult an orthopedician for specialist management because surgery is the final treatment if not responding to medicines Thanks
