I have been tested for Vertigo, and for the last week or so, my left ear which has a constant buzzing sound, now seems to have more pressure at times, more of a knocking sound. My neck has been causing more headaches and the heels of both feet have a burning sensation in them. When I first get up in the morning, I have a hard time getting my balance to walk due to joint pain. I always have been a active woman and continue to be as it seems to help the stiffness. However, I have a hard time going to sleep due to the noise in my left ear. Please, any advice would be appreciated!
The best treatment for tinnitus is to ignore it. Divert your attention to something else after some time you will not be bothered by it. It is most annoying during night when you are going to sleep, if you like music a light music sooths and helps in ignoring it. Otherwise there are certain medicines available which can be tried. And there are devices available known as 'Tinitus maskers'.
