Suggest Treatment For Tinnitus

My wife has loud ringing in her left ear. She is 81 years old, weighs about 107 lbs, 5 0 tall, takes Losartin with HCT, Exemestane, 81mg Aspirin. Has high blood pressure; once was up to 214, but now is about 142/64. She took her medicines after supper last night, eleven hours ago. The ringing started about 6:30 AM, about an hour and a half ago.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think the ringing noise comes as a result of taking losartan and other blood pressure lowering medications.
I think she can also need to do a blood test to check for iron deficiency anemia which may be a cause of ringing ears.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
