General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Beeping sound from ears that is tinnitus can be due to the following reasons:
- Fluid in ears
- Inflammation of the vestibulo-cochlear apparatus

Problem with vestibulocochlear nerve as mentioned by your Doctor. Problems in brain near the nerves. Hence you have to consult an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation. Audiometry. CT+ MRI of the mastoids and nerves. Watch for hypertension or any other medical problems. Once all these are diagnosed specifically then it is possible to have a specific treatment. So get all these tings done, insist on it and get treated properly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
