Suggest Treatment For Tiredness, Headache And Dizziness

My daughter has a headache and and her neck and jaw hurt and is a bit dizzy when she moves her head. She is tired but does not have fever of sore throat which I would think would indicate mono perhaps if she did. She is not stuffy with sinus or have a cold. She went to student health care on Thursday and her white count was down and flu test and rapid mono were negative. She has not improved over the weekend.

Hello,

For the moment in the absence of other symptoms and no indication of infections I would use only over the counter painkillers like Ibuprofen up to1200mg a day, it is a most likely tension-type headache which should eventually subside.

If symptoms persist over 5 days or other symptoms appear then should go to the ER for re-evaluation and to consider the need for brain imaging.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
