Suggest Treatment For Tonsilitis, Fever And Severe Ear Pain In A Child

My 7 year son got impetigo on a small part of his cheek most likely from school I suspect. He now has horrible tonsilitis, and a fever bad ear pain, he s been to the doctor twice and urgent care. One says it s from allergies, another thinks it may be mono. Neither wanted to give antibotics, I begged for it at urgent care because this has been going on since last Tuesday. He can barley eat or drink wakes up crying from throat pain and fevers and holds his ears. It s horrible I did get amoxicillin I gave him his first dose at 330pm today about to give him his 2nd dose now. Do you think this will help? He can t go to school I m missing work, I just need my little guy better please help! Kelly
