Suggest Treatment For Tonsillitis And Pain In Gums

Hi was just wondering I ve got tonsillitis and have been taking antibiotics now for a few days and my symptoms do not seem to be getting better. My pain has now gone to my gums and made all my mouth feel swollen as well as my throat. Just wondering should I go back to my GP or wait to see if the antibiotics will kick in. Many thanks Sam.

U need to add anti inflammatories along with it. Maybe u r taking those .if not then do take and also take anti inflammatories gargle. Viral infection of throat will take its own time to go. A change of antibiotics will be needed if the infection doesn't resolve
