Suggest Treatment For Tonsillitis During Pregnancy

Im 39 week pregnant and I believe that Im getting either strep or tonsillitis and I have some amoxicillin that I was given 2 months ago and I was wondering would it be ok for me to take it till I get a chance to see a doctor on monday.

I really appreciate your concern, it is better to confirm the diagnosis first ideally all the drugs should be avoided in pregnancy and can only be given where it is extremely needed, but again diagnosis is must, it may not be tonsillitis but could be just throat allergic condition hope this information helps.
