Suggest Treatment For Tonsillitis

I have tonsillitis for about the 10th time in the past 2 years..Should I get my tonsils taken out? (I am a 22 year old female). Also this is bad timing as my graduation is on Sunday and I am missing a lot of stuff I was excited about doing with my friends this week...is it possible to double up on amoxicillin to speed up my recovery?

Dear patient, if tonsillitis happens so frequently, you should contact an ent doctor to evaluate operation. Double up the antibiotic will not make recovery faster unfortunately. Better to take cefuroxim than amoxicillin also. Best regards
