My throat now gets more painful when I get it and sometimes I get it 3-4 times a year. My doctor hasn t yet suggested to get them take out but I don t know weather to mention it, PLEASE HELP!!!

Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to tonsillitis.
Usually, the surgery is a treatment option for those who are often sick with tonsillitis or strep throat.
If you've had at least seven cases of tonsillitis or strep in the last year (or five cases or more over each of the last two years), surgery may be an option.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
