Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your complain and the explanation of symptoms it seems that due to breakage of the tooth the deeper regions of the tooth which contains nerves and blood vessels in a small chamber known as Pulp have openend up and th infection has caused inflammation of the nerves and the infection has reached below the root tips of the tioth and causing pus formation..

As the pus gets accumulated in the soft tissues it appears over the gums as a small zit or ulcer and as in your case pus is coming through it is known as PUS DRAINING SINUS..

As you said your tooth is broken you should consult a dentist to get evaluated by taking an x ray that tooth can be saved or needs extraction..

In case it can be saved Root Canal Treatment followed by antibiotics and painkillers is recommended..

In case only medicines are taken you need to take painkiller along with antibiotics to relieve pain, but only antibiotics cannot provide permanent relief and treatment has to be done to remove the source of infection..

Hope you get well soon..

Thanks and regards..
