Suggest Treatment For Torn Meniscus

Hi I am a 48 year young healthy athletic woman 5 feet 7 inches usually 135 but due to muscle lose from 2 year injury holding at perhaps 150 I had surgery on April 21st 2017 for a medical meniscus tear and worked rally hard the past month building up my muscles again and I was told today I still have sharp pain die to cracks in my cartilage that can not be repaired. I am devastated to think I can never be active again. I researched online repair is an option so why didn t my surgeon do that when he took car of the tear?

meniscus tear has to be repaired surgically ...now a days arthroscopic repair is done ..a small tube is passed through a small hole in knee ...
