I m studying in the capital but when i come back in my hometown i have these problems . I m using salbutamol 100micrograms just so i can sleep at night . This medicine is helping me alot . I should add that the wather here is cold -10 grades Celcius . Can it be an allergie or is it caused by a cold ? I should add also that this happened to me 3-4 times of this month meaning every weekend i come back home it happens and it goes away when i go to the dorms in capital . Please can you tell me more about what i have (my daignosis) ? Thanks

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. It seems you have allergic bronchitis -the allergy can be dust/ pollens/ food articles/ severe cold you are exposed to in your home town. You should get your TLS/DLC done to check for eosinophillia.-which results from allergens - & causes cough. Testing for detection of allergens also helps by -helping in avoidance of allergen/ taking desensatizaton treatment. thanks.
