I recently was diagnosed with a demoed tumor in my medial ankle. Th proton therapy doctor said I'd he showed my information to surgeons; they would likely recommend amputation. Do you know why he would think they would recommend such a drastic option. I am 29 years old and am active. I have full range of my foot currently
