Suggest Treatment For 'type-3 Placenta Previa' During Pregnancy
hi...im a 25years old primigravida with gestational amenorhea of around 27weeks.my height is 5ft3inches and i weigh 63kgs at present...i have incomplete placenta previa type 3,what precautions should i be taking especially incase of air travel and what would be my course of treatment from now on wards(no history of per vaginal bleeding)
Hi, I have gone through your question. Type 3 placenta previa means that the placenta covers the cervical opening ( internal os) when it is closed, but does not covers it when the cervical is dilates during labour. You should avoid heavy strenous work, avoid long traveling, practice abstinence and consult your OBGYN specialist immediately if you experience pain, leaking or bleeding. Air travel is not recommended in placenta previa because of the chances of bleeding and the reason that emergency care ( caesarean section in case of bleeding ) is not available. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health.
