Hello,
You may have a viral infection that needs more time to heal. You need to avoid repeat exposure or stress that can cause reactivation. Viruses need time to heal. Rinse your mouth with warm salt water. Anti-inflammatory medication can be helpful. If you are not allergic, consider taking medication such as Tylenol, Advil or Benadryl. Avoid all irritants such as acidic and spicy foods.
What was your diagnosis and prescription? You may need a stronger dose, longer treatment period or a different antibiotic. This depends on your diagnosis and confirmation of a bacteria infection that can respond to antibiotic treatment. Take acidophilus and yogurt to avoid a fungal infection that can be associated with antibiotic treatment and produce uncomfortable oral symptoms.
Consult your doctor and update your current condition for advice.
