Suggest Treatment For Unexplained Cuts On Hand

My husband came down with cellulipis, is this different than cellulitis? His hand has three cuts and they rapidly became infected even after getting washed with salt water. It then spread to his underarm lymph node and discolored (red) the side of his chest ,arm and hand. He was rushed to hospital and had I V antibiotics for four days and is now on an oral antibiotic (4 X s daily) for 5 days. Is this likely to reoccur or once it is gone it is gone forever?. His blood sugar was a tad high at 9 instead of the normal 5. However during all of this he felt no different than any other day.

it is same as cellulitis. blood sugar is to be controlled. this is more important then treatment by antibiotics. antibiotic youare using is penicillin. it should work, if there is recurence, then give injetable penicilin.
