Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I am a very active person. I work as a massage therapist. Back in Dec of 2015 i been having symptoms of contraction in the face at first we though bell s however it started to move from one side of the face to the other. I wasn t able to walk without shaking. It affected my range of motions in my arms and legs, my speech, had no control over the muscles. It was like the muscles where fight against me. I had MRI done and I found out by reading the report not the doctors them self that I have a 7mm pineal cyst. They told me that what I have is an unknown virus and that symptoms would improved when virus season is over. It did start to improved until Saturday 8 months later my face started up with the contraction once again. We are afraid that things are going down south if we don t figure this out. I guess what my question is would that cyst cause those issues. I am trying to fight with my pcp to see an neurosurgeon at one of the best hospitals in the state however they are giving me issues cause it s out of their network how can I get this process going so I can get back to living again. My employer will not allow me to come back to work untI ll they figure things out. I need to work.
Some conditions may require surgery to correct the unsteady gait cause. These include spinal conditions, such as lumbar spinal stenosis.
Other treatments can include hearing aids for hearing problems, canes or walkers to aid in walking, and vision correction through glasses or a new glasses prescription.
