Suggest Treatment For Unsuccessful Abortion
hi doctor im 21yrs old and pregnant i had bought an mtp kit of cipla frm a chemist and i have taken all d medicines in the kit, i had little pain n little bleedin but now d bleeding has stopped im really worried doctor plzzz help..and plzz as soon as possible its been 47 days since my last periods... Understand your concern.
Safe practice is to take abortion pill (prescription of gynecologist is must required) under the expert suggestion and supervision of gynecologist. Abortion pill is used for medical termination of intrauterine pregnancy up to 63 days of gestational age (Pre pill USG required to confirm). Bleeding after taking pill depend on dose of pill, nature and age of pregnancy. Normally bleeding occur with in 1-2 hour after taking pill and whole process of abortion will complete in 2-3 days. No bleeding and pain after 7 days. But in your case there is no period since 47 days , I would like to suggest the pregnancy test, HPT to confirm the pregnancy. If it is positive, there may be possibility of abnormal development of pregnancy due to failure of abortion or ectopic pregnancy. If it is negative , you should induce the bleeding by misoprostol or by medroxyprogesterone. But best advice is to do USG or blood HCG by consulting the gynecologist to confirm incomplete abortion/ectopic pregnancy.
