Hi, iv had a headache, flemmy chest and cough, nausea, fever, body aches and cold shivers for a few weeks now it doesnt seem to be getting any better. I have been to the doctors but they dont tell me much. I was just wondering what i should do and why it wont go away??
Decreased immunity or drug resistant organisms may lead to uncontrolled infection. Get it done throat swab culture and sensitivity. Use salt water gargling thrice a day and water vapour inhalation thrice a day for five days. Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625 mg twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
