Suggest Treatment For Urine Infection During Pregnancy

hi am Geeta, am pregnant and my due date is 17th march, last week I feel so much of pain at the time of loo , so my doctor suggested a urine test, the report show FULL FIELD PUS CELLS, doctor gave me medicine for 7 days, its 4th day but I did not see much improvement, what should I do? Report Indicates 1. Colour : Yellow 2.Quantity : 30ml 3.Albumin : Teracl 4.Sugar : Nil 5. M/E : Full field pus cell

Hi & Welcome.
The result indicates the urine infection most probably not responding to the prescribed antibiotics.
I would advise you to get the Culture & Sensitivity of the urine sample to find out the causative micro organisms and also to select an appropriate antibiotic to eradicate the infection.

Meanwhile take plenty of oral fluids, juices, avoid caffeinated beverages, you may take Citaralk syrup for the symptomatic relief of burning urination.
