Suggest Treatment For Uterine TB

Hello Doctor, I have ovarian failure and have had uterine TB. I use Diane 35 to have regular periods. I now am adopting a baby and want to have induced lactation. Will use shatavari, galact. Will this cause any side effects for me and will I need to stop Diane 35? Should I check for uterine Tb before I feed the child?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Congratulations on the adoption, unfortunately, there are some side effects that may occur in some women who use meds to cause breastfeeding to occur.

It is possible that the effects will not occur in you but they are: anxiety, tiredness, headaches, insomnia, intestinal disorders. There may not be any effect on the baby.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
