Suggest Treatment For Uterine Fibroids While Having Diabetes

Does uterine fibroids bring on symptoms of diabetes?, I was diagnosed as having both earlier this year, but found it strange that I m diabetic because I don t have any of the tell tail signs of such an illness except for having a blood sugar level of 189mg/dl, my skin don t itch, I don t have excessive thirst and all my wounds do heal, with that being said, can you explain what s going on with me please?, thanks in advance for responding.

Hi welcome to HCM....

You are having uterine fibroid ....

You have not mentioned size of fibroid and you have not written whether blood sugar report is fasting or post prandial...

If this is fasting blood sugar report than it is definetly diabetis and if it is pp2bs than it is post prandial so it is impaired blood glucose ...

You have to limit sugar intake in diet and if needed oral hypoglycemic drugs started ...

If you are obese than loose weight ...

Utetine fibroid of big size can compress bladder and such symptom(increase frequency ) can occur ..

So based on clinical correlation and size of fibroid decision taken whether to remove fibroid or not. ..
