Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Bleeding After Getting Nuva Ring

I started using Nuva Ring on the first day of my period August 13th and I have been bleeding ever since. I took out the ring last Friday as I was suppose to and nothing has changed with the bleeding. Is there something I can do to stop the bleeding? And what could be the reason for me to bleed for so long? I also had unproteced sex during the month.
