Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Discharge And Sinus Infection While On Azithromycin
Hi was prescribed azithromycin for a sinus infection and after a few hours of taking the first dosage (2 tablets = 500 mg ) I went to the bathroom and noticed vaginal discharge ( almost close to cottage cheese like) . I did not experience discharge prior to first dose .... Is this the azithromycin or should I speak with an OBGYN ? For possible other concerns

Antibiotics can cause yeast infection but does not usually cause this effect so quickly after taking it.
It is likely that the yeast infection may have been brewing prior to the antibiotic course.
A topical vaginal cream or oral antifungal would help if there is a yeast infection.
