Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Itching And Bleeding After Intercourse

hi me and my girlfriend have bad sex maybe ten times. she had her period on july 10th. i did cum outside of her vagina a couple days after her period. but recently i put icy hot on her legs. then fingered her after washing but didn't really scrub the icy hot off. recently she has been had an itching or hurting around her vagina. this has been probably seven days. she thinks she has a yeast infection from looking it up on the internet. today we tried having sex and had to stop due to her bleeding, but she says its not her period blood. the blood however doesnt seem to "drip" into a pad she put on after. what could be the cause of this?
