Hi,
It is natural for some irritation to be seen with any vaginal tablet, but is unusual for severe burning to happen. Since you still feel the vaginitis has not completely healed, I would ask you to continue with the treatment for a few more days after asking your consultant. Also, abstain from any sexual intercourse until all the symptoms are cleared. Abstinence also is advised during the first and last trimesters of pregnancy. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you good health.
