Hi Doctor. I am an 18 y.o. female, I m not overweight and I eat relatively healthy. My legs are covered in spider/varicose veins, they have been since I was a child(I was always too thin as a child). If I carry something weighing more than 3kg for a short distance, 10m or sometimes less, my legs start getting that strange sensation-simular to the feeling when you try to stay under water as long as you can. After which, I am just completely unable to carry it further. I do not have weak leg muscles, I hike and do trail runs quite often. Also, small sores on my feet, such as a mosquito bite that I scratched open, would take more than a month to heal. Sometimes it would take a year for a small cut on my ankle to heal, and when I shower it turns purple where the sore used to be. I went to see a laser specialist 3 years ago, but he said that my skin was to sensitive to use a high enough setting with the laser vein-remover. I ve made peace with the unattractive appearance of vein-covered legs, I would just like to know if there might be any more serious health problems connected to this? Thanks in advance.
