Suggest Treatment For Ventricular Tachycardia And Supraventricular Tachycardia

My husband has been told he has ventricular tachycardia and supra ventricular tachycardia. A cardiac electrophysiologist wanted to do an ablation, but could not get the heart to react in order to map the electrical impulses. Since the EP study, he has had increased episodes of tachycardia and several episodes where he has passed out while walking. Dr does not seemed overly concerned and wants him to wear a heart monitor for two weeks, something he did earlier in the year to get the tachycardia diagnosis. I feel frustrated by physicians apparent lack of concern.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

A clinically documented case of ventricular and supra ventricular tachycardia needs medical therapy with anti arrhythmic drug of class B or class C most likely, till there is waiting for electronic ablation of the ectopic foci.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
